Items on Planet Arkadia can be broadly described in three separate categories:

Both Unlimited and Limited Items are single items such as a helicopter, a sword or a piece of armour, that can't be stacked together. Stackable Items on the other hand are items such as ammunition, animal hides and mineral resources, that can be put together in one stack (which is treated as one item, that can be split into multiple items as you pull the stack apart).

The three parts of this chapter give more details about each of the three major item types.

Each time you use either an Unlimited or Limited item, the item decays - that is, its Trade Terminal value decreases. Each such item can be used until its value drops to its Condition Limit. The Condition Limit is displayed as a percentage of its maximum Trade Terminal value in the Item Info Panel.

A Limited Item can be identified by the (L) at the end of its name, as in the picture here.

Unlike Unlimited Items, a Limited Item's effectiveness does not decrease as it decays. For example, as Limited armour decays, it continues to provide 100% of its stated protection.

However, you cannot repair a Limited Item. Once it has reached its Condition Limit, it is now broken. Any remaining value below the Condition Limit can be salvaged by "TTing" the item (selling it to the Trade Terminal). ...

Unlimited Items can be repaired at Repair Terminals, distinguishing them from Limited and Stackable Items.

As a general rule, the effectiveness or quality of an Unlimited Item decreases as it decays. For example, a piece of Unlimited armour that has decayed to 50% of its full TT value, only gives 50% of its full stated protection. However, you can repair an Unlimited Item at any point by taking it to a Repair Terminal.

The value of an Unlimited Item is generally expressed as an amount of PED above the ...

Stackable Items are different to Limited and Unlimited items in that they are usually far more abundant, and can therefore be stacked together in your Inventory. Hovering over any such stack will show you the quantity of the items in that stack. The value of the stack will be the Trade Terminal value of an individual item, multiplied by the quantity of items in the stack. Stacks can be split into multiple stacks by right-clicking a stack and selecting "Split". Multiple stacks can also be merged together by right clicking a stack and selecting "Merge".

Stackable Items include things like animal hides, ammunition, paints, mined resources and a variety of other items that are often used in larger quantities.

Prices of stackable items are expressed as a percentage of the stack's Trade ...
